I am seeking this position because Buena Park deserves strong leadership.
Buena Park is unique among Orange County Cities. We are a modern city with a hometown atmosphere.
As a Councilmember, I will:
Fight to stop ordinances, which reduce our individual Private Property Rights.
Establish in Buena Park a private sector based "Farmer's Market." Opened by B.P.C.C. on June 2, 2007.
Work to prevent the senseless use of Eminent Domain.
Control city spending and actively seek to balance the budget.
Work to find advance solutions to the traffic problems that will be caused by the I-5 Fwy widening (The Gateway Project).
Fight to protect children and maintain our high educational standards.
Re-evaluate and improve the policies of the Redevelopment Agency.
I hold a Master's Degree in Finance. Full undergraduate Minors in Accounting and Business Management plus, an undergraduate “International Business Certificate.”
I have accumulated over twenty years of experience in the fields of Workers Compensation Insurance, Business and Consumer Credit and, Pension funds.
Since 1990, I have been responsible for the financial administration and daily operation of a Buena Park based wholesale products broker with millions of dollars in annual sales.
No current member of the Buena Park City Council has my combination of educational background and business experience.
