Involved as a volunteer at the grass roots level with the following campaigns :  

Has been a professional part-time entertainer since the age of sixteen (16). Personal appearances as a performer have included Clubs, Concerts, Television, Radio and, 25,000 plus capacity Arenas.  Responsibilities have involved booking and, arranging transportation for musicians, equipment and support staff.  Organized and coordinated off stage visual and audio activities.  Created and directed both live stage and, video performances.  Has “hands on” experience with recording, sound reinforcement and, visual equipment.  

From June of 1991 to June of 2002 (11 years), operated evening adult volleyball leagues and tournaments at Brookhurst Jr. High and Orange view Jr. High in the City of Anaheim.  Responsible for renting gym space, obtaining teams, collecting fees, scheduling games and, providing referees (has been a volleyball referee since 1980).

I would like to help create an atmosphere that will heighten community involvement.  The creation of programs involving Buena Park residents is my main goal.  Video presentations that Spotlight students and school activities from the Elementary level to seniors in High School should help to increase the interest of the Residents of Buena Park in their City's Government and Public Access cable programming.  

Most programs can be produced with little or no funding.  Formatting programs to highlight and display the contributions of different organizations and groups can generate a great deal of volunteer assistance.  Different approaches to programs produced by other cities can create a sense of freshness.  

New style programs covering “Buena Park Only” topics could help create a “We Are Unique, We Are Buena Park” community attitude.  Buena Park has a long and rich history.  The “History of Buena Park” can be presented in a number of new and different ways.  

I personally find creating different ways to both entertain and inform people not only rewarding, but also fun.  Having-over the last 35 years-lived in number of different cities within Orange County, I have come to the conclusion that I like Buena Park the best.
